Our mechanical engineering design department aim is to innovate and produce bespoke designs that have been formulated with our client.  We draw to the recognised BS308 standard and produce high quality production drawings.

Design is important when developing a new machine or product. Robust, innovative design will reduce any future manufacturing costs.  The initial design process will indicate as to where product manufacturing costs can be reduced whilst maintaining quality. At Barair Systems we also use analysis tools such as Finite Element Analysis to reduce material waste and ensure products or machinery are of adequate strength and fit for purpose.

We can also provide environmental reports on new and excising machinery. During the design of new products or machinery we can assess the environmental impact of the production, usage and final disposal at decommissioning.

Upon completion of the engineering design phase we can offer you the choice of prototyping, manufacture or project management dependent on your company’s requirements.

All designs are generated using our Solidwork’s Parametric Solid Modelling System and Ansys Finite Element Analysis software.

Jig and Fixture Design

We are able to design and produce Jig and fixtures to your specification. Jig and fixtures help to aid efficient production, reducing costs.  Please ask one of friendly staff to attend your site and we can discuss with you which technique would be better for your production schedule.  After the initial consultation a quotation will be formulated.
